Front Sway Bar Installation Instructions
The Fiero Store is only responsible for the parts that it ships and is not responsible for faulty installations. Labor claims will not be acknowledged. If you are not familiar with the processes listed below, please seek the help of a professional automotive technician.
CAUTION: DO NOT WORK UNDER CARS ONLY SUPPORTED BY A JACK.
USE SECURE JACK STANDS OR A LIFT.
Jack up the front of the car and place jack stands securely under the vehicle in such a manner that the springs are loaded as if they were on the ground.Remove the end links from the factory sway bar and A-Arms. Save OEM bolts from the center sway bar bushings. Note the original position end links were mounted.Remove main sway bar brackets and cross member braces and then remove bar from car noting the position for easier installation.Lubricate your new urethane bushings with a high grade bearing grease and place on sway bar.Mount sway bar with new brackets provided in the kit. Use OEM bolts.Install new end link assemblies provided in the kit.Tighten end link assemblies until grommets begin to deform. DO NOT CRUSH GROMMETS.Tighten all fasteners securely.
